You should know that on the instructions of Traffic DCP Dr. Rajesh Mohan, the traffic police is running campaigns every day and taking strict action against such vehicle drivers. If we talk about this year, from January 1 till now, a total of 44,277 challans have been issued under lane change violations. Along with this, the traffic police is also taking action with drones.
You should know that the DCP informed that from July 10 onwards, continuous monitoring is also being done through ANPR cameras installed by NHAI on NH-48 and Dwarka Expressway. Under this, from July 10 to September 28, a total of 13,030 challans have been issued against vehicles violating lane driving. In the year 2024, a total of 61,780 vehicles violating lane driving were acted upon. You should know that under the “No salute, only challan” campaign, during the last one week, action was taken against a total of 18,290 vehicle drivers under violation of traffic rules.
