
"Sambhal Police Issue Lookout Notice Against Javed Habib and Family in Multi-Crore Crypto Fraud Case"
Uttar Pradesh: Authorities in Sambhal police have issued lookout notices against celebrity hairstylist Javed Habib and his family amid a multi-crore fraud investigation, officials said Wednesday. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP), the alleged fraud involves a sum between ₹5 crore and ₹7 crore, though further complaints continue to pour in and the total amount may rise.  So far, investigations have confirmed scams amounting to up to ₹1 crore in certain individual cases.
Police say the fraud is centered around a company called Follicle Global Company (FLC). Investors were reportedly promised unusually high returns — claims of 50–75% gains in a year — by investing in Bitcoin and Binance Coin.  Around 150 people are alleged to have invested amounts ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹7 lakh each. 
The first FIR was filed at Raysatti Police Station after investors failed to receive promised returns. Subsequent complaints have led to 19 more FIRs, implicating Habib, his son Anas Habib, his wife (reportedly a founder of FLC), and other associates.
Charges include Sections 420 (cheating) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).  Authorities are also investigating properties owned by the Habib
