A new initiative has been taken by the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, which involves the launch of a podcast initiative. The initiative is meant to disseminate genuine knowledge regarding traditional medicine and Ayurveda.
A podcast studio has been developed at the institute. Through this platform, the expert Ayurvedic doctors, researchers, and professionals will be able to share their knowledge with regard to health-related issues. Through this platform, the expert Ayurvedic doctors will discuss the principles of Ayurveda, the modes of treatment, preventive health practices, and lifestyle practices based on the traditional medical practices of India.
According to the officials, the purpose of the podcast is to ensure the accessibility of Ayurvedic knowledge to the people, as they are increasingly looking for digital platforms to obtain the same. With the rise of social media, the institute believes it is important to give people scientifically backed and reliable information about traditional systems of healthcare.
This initiative has been taken up by the Ministry of AYUSH, as they are actively involved in raising awareness and conducting research pertaining to the benefits of Ayurveda, yoga, and other forms of medicine. This new podcast studio will act as a link between traditional and modern forms of medicine.

The recording studio for the podcast was inaugurated by the Union Minister of State for AYUSH, Prataprao Jadhav, at a special function held at the institute.
