The Punjab government has started the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme in the state. From tomorrow, registration will begin in Tarn Taran and Barnala districts. Under this scheme, every family will get free treatment of up to 10 lakh rupees.
Today, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, during a press conference, informed that the Punjab government has launched the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme in the state, for which registration will start from tomorrow. Mann told that the registration process is very simple. From tomorrow, registration will start in Tarn Taran and Barnala districts, where 128 medical camps will be set up so that people do not have to go far for registration.
He explained that registration will be done only with photocopies of Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, and Passport. CM Mann said that our effort is to provide better health services and financial security to every citizen of the state. This scheme is a big step in that direction.
CM Mann further told that, to reach the people, this scheme will be regularly promoted and its announcement will also be made through the speakers of Gurudwara Sahib. The registration of all the people of both districts will be completed in 10–12 days. After this, the scheme will be implemented throughout Punjab.
