Now in Kolkata, heavy rainfall has disturbed daily life. Streets are flooded like a waterlogging situation, making life difficult. Rail and metro services have been disrupted. Water has entered many houses. The weather department has warned that due to the low-pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal, heavy rainfall may occur in several districts of South Bengal.
After Haryana, Punjab, and Himachal, now in Kolkata and surrounding areas, the heavy overnight rain on Tuesday completely disturbed daily life. Because of heavy rain, many trains have been cancelled. Due to water and electrocution, 5 people have died.
Streets are in flood-like condition, because of which rail and metro services have stopped. Daily activities of common people have come to a halt. Rainwater has entered many houses and residential areas, making life very hard. It is being said that five people lost their lives due to electrocution caused by water entering homes. This news has made the disaster even more serious.
