
Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the program organized on October 1 on the occasion of the foundation day of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). On this occasion, in his address, PM Modi mentioned the demise of Vijay Kumar Malhotra, who was a volunteer of the Sangh, and paid tribute to him, along with giving greetings of Navratri to all the countrymen. PM Modi described being a witness of the centenary year of the Sangh as a moment of pride and said that today the coin released has for the first time the picture of Bharat Mata engraved on it. The motto of the Sangh is also written on it.
He also said that the volunteers of the Sangh also participated in the parade of 26 January in 1963 and marched on the tune of patriotism with pride and honor. This glimpse is also in the postage stamp. PM Modi said that the way volunteers are engaged in the work of nation building…..
