Chandigarh: The Punjab government has called a cabinet meeting on October 13, to be chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in Chandigarh.
The meeting is expected to focus on the rehabilitation and relief efforts following the recent floods that caused widespread damage across the state. Officials said the government is likely to announce measures for financial aid, infrastructure repair, and support to affected families.
Alongside this, the cabinet will also deliberate on major decisions related to the 350th birth anniversary celebrations of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, with discussions on cultural events, state-level commemorations, and related funding.
