Shardiya Navratri 2025: Shardiya Navratri has started from today. This festival, beginning from the Pratipada Tithi of the Ashwin month, is considered a special time for worshipping Maa Durga and her nine forms. On the first day, Ghatasthapana is performed in the auspicious muhurat, which will be from 6:09 AM to 8:06 AM in the morning.
Shardiya Navratri has a special importance in Hindu religion. Navratri of Maa comes four times in a year, in which two are secret Navratri, and two are Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri. Everyone eagerly waits for the arrival of Maa. This year, that is 2025, Shardiya Navratri is starting from today. This time Shardiya Navratri will be from 22 September to 1 October. Every year, the festival of Shardiya Navratri begins from the Pratipada Tithi of the Ashwin month. On the first day, Kalash Sthapana has the most importance and on this day, Kalash is established in the auspicious muhurat and nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. It is believed that whoever worships Maa with true heart, Maa showers her immense blessings on them.
Special Muhurat of Kalash Sthapana
Today, several special muhurat have also been told for Kalash Sthapana. The first muhurat will be from 6:09 AM to 8:06 AM in the morning, and the second muhurat will be Abhijit Muhurat, starting from 11:49 AM and ending at 12:38 PM in the afternoon. It is said that whoever performs Kalash Sthapana in the name of Maa according to the time, receives Maa’s endless blessings.
