Gurpatwant Singh Pannun Targets Diljit Dosanjh Over Amitabh Bachchan Video
Chandigarh:Pro-Khalistan leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has launched an attack on Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh after a video surfaced showing him touching the feet of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
In a social media post, Pannun termed the act “disturbing,” alleging that Bachchan had once raised the slogan “Blood for Blood” in the aftermath of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination in 1984 — a remark he claims fueled anti-Sikh violence.
Pannun reminded people to “never forget the November 1984 Sikh genocide,” accusing Bachchan of provoking genocidal sentiments that led to the massacre of thousands of Sikhs across India.
The video of Dosanjh greeting Bachchan has sparked heated reactions online, with Pannun’s comments reigniting discussions around the events of 1984 and their lingering impact on the Sikh community.
