The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission had summoned Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring in connection with the matter. However, Warring did not appear before the commission in person.
Instead, his lawyer Arshpreet Singh Khadial appeared on his behalf. But when the commission asked him to present the power of attorney, Khadial was unable to produce the document.
The commission is expected to take the next course of action after reviewing the development.
